    USe LPG is cheaper and you can always have one Extra cylinder at home, so you never out of Gas,
    and you no need to buy New Stove too

    Comparison here is how to Save costs, as to fix Towngas a new stove need to be purchased, Moreover with Towngas you never know how much charges you have to pay, unless the bill comes, With Cylinder you are aware of the costs.

    Lpg is propane butane which has higher heat content than towngas which is natural gas methane butane.

    Also lpg wobbe index is 3 times town gas.. which means comparing two at same flow rate and pressure, lpg deliver 3 times higher energy at the burner.

    Cost wise lpg is also cheaper than towngas. Towngas is safer and convenient.

    if money is tight then stick with LPG as town gas is a lot more expensive.
