    The sarong did not go down well at work, haven't tried that since.

    Seriously, losing weight is the best thing you can do. I have bulked up more than I would like since working from home and the extra insulation means I am sweating more. Physical effort creates heat in the body, if you have a layer of fat (thermal insulation), it is harder for it to escape through sweating. Being slim has serious advantages in this climate. I have a way to go before I am slim!

    Now how to beat the rain and the heat? Up to 200mm of rain in some areas over the past 24hrs...

    During the day, keep shades and window blinds, curtains closed. Cool the place with AC.
