No more Home Quarantine for Inbound Travellers?

    Evening,

I heard recently that there is no longer any inbound home quarantine option available to inbound travelers with all arrivals required to compulsorily quarantine in hotels regardless of country of departure, does anyone know anything about this?

This rumour has surfaced several times over the last several months and has yet to be substantiated.

As of a few minutes ago, there was nothing on the HK Govt Coronavirus website that suggested that this is being done.

Do you have a source for the rumour?

As of this morning, no changes announced on the HK Govt website and no one is raising this issue on the HK Quarantine Support Facebook page.

Also, given the low rates of imported cases in recent weeks, it would be very surprising if the HK Govt introduced such as requirement now.
