Pacific place is quite good
If looking to check out Christmas decorations, the cathedral on Caine Road should be open Christmas day, they have a really nice nativity, if you like that kind of thing- plenty of non-religious visitors go there, don't have to be Christian or a believer or anything...
Now, this is based on previous years, when people went there- I am just assuming that they are still going to decorate as they broadcast the mass on the Internet.
I went to see the very extensive Christmas decorations at the Mormon Temple outside DC one year, not Mormon but they were very welcoming.
Gonna check out St. John's Cathedral as well, hopefully some things up there.
My ranking...based on Christmas feels
Top: Landmark, Central
Second place: Lee Tung Avenue, Wanchai
Third place: Harbour City, TST
Fourth place: Pacific Place
Everywhere is very TAME, the last thing they want is hordes of people going to these Christmas decorations to take pictures, even outside harbour city in TST near the star Ferry, last year the whole outside was full of decorations, this year, only the stairs at the entrance has it.
Christmas is closed
Yes Landmark has a nice Christmas deco every year but normally there is also always a show (light, music and animated deco) every 30 minutes. Unfortunately this year this kind of show has been cancelled so everything is "frozen" so less magic for the kids.
