Fall is finally approaching in HK

Some good news for those who prefer cooler and drier weather, Monday will drop to 20 degrees, a sure sign that fall is finally arriving in HK. Personally, its my favorite time of year. No longer sweltering hot but still warm enough to wear t-shirts and shorts outside.

Did seem pleasant and cooler this morning.

Unfortunately the highs are still in their mid 20s (still better than summer...).

So long as I don't sweat a ton and avoid that stickiness on your skin (like in the summer) whenever I am outside I will be happy.

October and November are the two best weather months in HK. Enjoy.

I used to go to Hong Kong every October to teach a class, thought that was the climate all year. Got a shock when I moved there.

My fave seasons in Hong Kong, Autumn and Winter. Meaning pretty much it was short sleeves for the entire year as winter is qenerally quite mild also. Not sweating the moment you do anything slightly physical was such welcome attribute that I take for granted year round now.

Agreed about 90%, the remaining 10%? There are occasional cold surges each winter that drop the temperature into single digits, on those days, it bests to wear a long-sleeved clothing, preferably with a sweater or coat. Of course, most of the time that usually last only a few days at most each winter, which makes one wonder why HK locals buy those thick clothing and store it up all year just for those few days of real cold. Ah well, at least it gives them an excuse to make a fashion statement.
