Umm, especially since "typhoon alley" is kind of a bit east of the PH so you all see it first, then the rest of us. Yesterday, we in TW were clearly getting some kind of outer bands of Noru- it went from coolish mid-20's weather up to low 30's very quickly and just had that "typhoon" feel about it. Also, today, has that "post-typhoon" feel about it (hot, clear).

Further, there are more Filipinos in HK than gweilos and they are expats as well and may be interested in what is going on back home...

Given post history, it's more a reflection on the person complaining than on the subject matter.

The forum has overall taken a turn for the worse ever since the overall climate of the city changed, years ago. It was very noticeable first with the change in political background, then with Covid impinging on everyday life.

Sure, we had incredibly silly and long running arguments back then too, but the overall tone really has shifted.

Even though it wont effect us as such but could this be the closer to the 2022 quiet season?
