    Typhoon season 2022

    Expect the unexpected in 2022

But this is standard, first one of the year for us. 25 dead (22 in one landslide).

Tragic to hear the deaths. RIP. Looks like Megi will move to the Philippines Sea and merge with Typhoon Marlakas further out in the Western Pacific or dissipate by itself.

that's really sad & truly a strange weather pattern nowadays.

never in my childhood memories that there where severe typhoons during the months of March & April

There is possibility of one brewing up in next week ! HKO says not sure on intensity and track but probably Hainan. Windy has modelling which suggests effects of it from Tuesday.

Is that what is responsible for the weather today?

Dunn think so - too early for it I think. There was one low pressure area passed us yesterday with T1 in morning.
