Noisy Air Conditioner

The front lid keeps vibrating against the back and it's annoying. I've found putting a towel between the bottom ridge of the wall puts pressure on the front lid and stops the noise temporarily but the towel eventually moves every time the AC turns on or off.

Is there some sort of stick/tool that has the ability to extend to keep pressure constant on the front lid? What's the name of such a contraption? I've tried vibration mounts and cellotape to no avail.

Any other ideas?

I just went and bought some more vibration mounts from JHC and voila, that did the trick!
