Wine Fridge needs coolant recharging - where to go?

I have a good 48 bottle Baumatic branded wine fridge I bought 3-4 years ago. Out of warranty. It runs fine, but no longer cools anything, so I suspect the refrigerant needs to be recharged.

Does anyone know who I can call for something like that?

You could check with Baumatic after sales service.

If you are sure, that it’s the refrigerant then you could try asking your neighborhood aircon company. They should be able to refill the refrigerant.

In my opinion it’s unlikely, that after 4 years only the refrigerant is at low level.

I've had some super old fridges and never needed a charge. likely a fault.

Thanks for the feedback that the problem is likely more than or beyond just a coolant issue. I will call the after sales service number and see what they have to say, although being out of warranty this might mean the end of the fridge... :-)

Don't jump to conclusions!

It could just be that the CAPACITOR in the start-up circuit is defunct.

I've had that in an aircon, and it was fixed by a replacement.
