Hindi movie dvds on Hong Kong Island

Will anyone tell me if they know of a shop on Hong Kong Island which sells and/or rents latest hindi film dvds/vcds?

I used to rent/buy from the shop opposite Koshary Cafe in Central but the rather sweet Nepalese guy seems to have been replaced by a rude and obnoxious owner that I don't want to do business with any more.

If you don't mind making the trek to Chung King, there's a shop owned by Nepalis called Kathmandu near the main entrance...walk past the money changers, and you'll see it on your left. I don't know if they do rentals, but they sell DVDs pretty cheap and they have pretty much every new release...music, too! My parents shop there, I don't really watch Hindi movies myself...hope this helps.

Plenty of places in Chungking and the selection is pretty good. The Nepaly guys have the best selection and some of the other guys might have some older stuff the Nepaly guys don't have.
If you are like me and need English Subs be sure to have them test the disc for you before you buy them.
I love the music in Bollywood films and the dance sequences with couples running around trees.

You can try 3/F of Melbourne Plaza in Central. And there's also a little grocery store on the top of Graham St (closer to Lyndhurst Terrace) oppsite Sweet Secrets.

    Wonderful! I'll try them out

Just make sure that you tell the guy that you will exchange the DVD's in case the print is bad. My wife had picked up some from TST - Ching Kings Mansion .. and one set of them was really bad.

But aside from that the prints are generally good

I'm really happy to find this thread! I've been looking for Hindi films for quite some time, but don't know the places to find them in Hong Kong.

Thanks for all the suggestions, but is it possible that anyone can give me exact directions on how to get to those shops?

    Thank you!
