I am currently accommodating my friend's family because their apartment had a fire accident. They do not have HKID, Credits Card, Phone, etc. Basically nothing right now as police investigations are on-going.
Their housing is classified as a Public Rental Housing. Does anyone have experience or know whether the government may provide temporary quarters for these situations? My friend hasn't had anytime to process it as he just got discharged from the hospital today.

First thing on Monday call Housing Authority and the district councillor.
HA numbers should be on their website or directory.gov.hk
