    Songs - help appreciated!

Can someone help me with the following, fairly current (I think) songs I've recently heard a lot around Hong Kong? They are a mixture of mainly house and R&B tunes. I really like them as they are each quite danceable, but I have no idea what they are called and who they are by. I have set out a few catch words that I remember from each song below - quite cryptic I know so I would be very grateful for answers. The lyrics don't sound so great, I know, but they are very catchy tunes!

    - Ride, ride

    - Bum bum eyo

    - A yer, a yer, a yer

    - "If you... "

Unfortunately I don't remember any more words in the last one. I have heard it in drop from time to time. I guess you could count it as house/dance music but it has almost a kind of a bluesy feel to it. There is an echoey anthem effect to the vocals. There are some distinctive whistly bits which go down in pitch in the chorus. I'd be particularly impressed if anyone has any idea which one I'm talking about!

PS There were other ones I was interested in, but I found the song titles from google searches - no luck with the above

    I'd be completely flabbergasted!

I think asking a DJ while it's being played would be your best option. Good luck!

download midomi on your iPhone and use it next time you're there and it should tell you what it is.
    It's free on iTunes.

Ride, ride could be the 70s song still being played in Canada at least by BTO - Bachman Turner Overdrive:

Bachman, Turner Overdrive - Let It Ride Lyrics

    Good Bye, Hard Life
Don't Cry Would you let it ride?
    (repeat)

You can't see the mornin', but I can see the light
Ride ride ride let it ride
While you've been out runnin' I've been waitin' half the night
Ride ride ride let it ride

    (Chorus)
And would you cry if I told you that I lied and would you say goodbye Or
would you let it ride? And would you cry if I told you that I lied and
would you say goodbye Or would you let it ride?

Babe my life is not complete I never see you smile
Ride ride ride let it ride
Baby you want the forgivin' kind and that's just not my style
Ride ride ride let it ride

    Chorus

I've been doin' things worthwhile, you've been bookin' time
Ride ride ride let it ride

    Chorus

    Would you let it ride
Ride ride ride let it ride
    Would you let it ride?

I'm pretty sure 2 & 3 were recorded by the Teletubbies, the lyrical style is unmistakable.

Thanks guys, but the "Ride Ride" song is neither of those two mentioned.. It's a house music song - I could sing it but am afraid I can't do so here :P

In the Ayer - Flo Rida.

and if "if" is misheard and repeated several times, then "with you" by Chris Brown. :3

you can hum/sing it, record it and post it.
