    Waterheater temp control?

With the cooler weather, the "hot" water in our kitchen is now tepid at best. It was always a bit on the lukewarm side for my taste, but its terrible now!
This water heater doesn't have any kind of external temperature control. (the bathroom ones each have a choice of 1 or 2 dots)
Does anyone know if there's an internal control? Is it as simple as crawling under the sink, taking the cover off and turning a little dial?

Or do I need to call the landlord? (such a pain to schedule his visit...)

    Thanks

It is one of those small electric wall mounted types ?

If so the easiest way is to not open the water flow full bore. Let the water flow slower and pick up more temp from the coils. Playing around with thermostats is for experienced professionals.

If its old it probably needs new coils and new heaters are really cheap in the market so why not just replace it?
