Is it a cockroach, baby cockroach, some other bug? They seem to like my cutlery drawer. Quite a light colour compared to the definite brown of most of the cockroaches I have seen before.

no, I would know an earwig. This one had a really small head and a wide body, and definitely no rear pincer movement going on there :-)
