Electricals - To bring or not?

I know I have stumbled across this before in this site, however, here goes again......

Coming from Oz in 3 wks and wondering if it makes sense to bring our home computer and stereo. Would leave with all the whitegoods and other electricals but both are new and good quality.....Is it easy enough to get converters etc.

Converters are easy to get, but if I were you, I'd try to sell the stuff and get a new set here - the electronics are super cheap plus they have all the newest stuff here - save yourself the hassle of packing and moving, it's easier to get it all in WanChai computer center.

You will probably only need plug converters (or new plugs) which cost next to nothing. So, particularly if someone else is paying for the shipping, I would say bring them.
