Being the resident pedant I have to point out that the banner ad for the Children's Cancer Foundation is not strictly accurate. The official statistics show that cancer is not the leading cause of mortality amongst children in Hong Kong (defining children as 0-14 since that is the age break the official stats use, and "cause" using the international statndard groupings), and the rate of deaths is substantially over-stated.
The stats for 2003 are here: http://www.info.gov.hk/dh/publicat/ar0304/pdf/a08.pdf
from which you can see that in 2003 the number of children who died of cancer was 29 (which is 2 to 3 per month, not 5 to 6) and that the leading cause of mortality was "external causes" of which there were 36. Of those 36, assault caused 15, transport accidents 5, suicide 4 and other falls 4.

Even if you take "children" to be 0-19 then the total number of deaths from cancer was 41, which is "3 to 4", not "5 to 6" per month.
