    Edumacate me -- 0 owner?

I've been perusing the used car ads here, and once in a while I see something that strikes my American eye as odd. Cars are listed as 0 (zero) owner. WTF?

To me, that equates to a new, never registered car, which clearly these cars are not.

    Thanks,
    Tony

TS888 - That number is something very local .... because of the way the car registration form works, the first position is "0".

Nice marketing gimmick. Sort of like 94% new... Venti ...

If the americans could, they'd have adopted this system too.

That's more or less what I expected. The other thing that I thought it might represent was a company-owned car, so no actual "owner".

Thanks for the clarification, Shri. In the US, we just "wash" the title to make a wrecked car look new again...
