    Thumbs up Awesome

    One word. Awesome.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here so far. Although I travel around the region quite frequently, I do maintain a base here. Relatively speaking, the tax in HK is low and the maintenance/upkeep is relatively inexpensive. As a general rule, if your rent is more than 1/3-1/2 of your income, then think twice about your situation. Get a cheaper place or a higher paying job ! You won't need much for the food etc, but you will need the moola to enjoy the bars and restaurants here in Hongkers.

That aside, the socially life here is tops ! LKF, SOHO, Local restaurants etc. It's also possible to go to nearby Asian countries for a short weekend get away or golf (e.g. China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore etc.) Hope that helps.
