    electricity bill

I moved into the new flat in NT two months ago. So far I haven't received any electricity bill? Is that normal?

But there is currently a $300 subsidy every month, until Sep 2009 (?) so if you haven't used up $300 worth of electricity yet, they may not send a bill.

I think you still get the bill- the subsidy means that it's just shown as a credit so there is nothing to pay.

I live in NT and can confirm that. Electricity bills are once every 2 months and you'll get a bill regardless of whether you need to pay anything or not.

Wow, so relaxed up there in the NT... over on HK side we get bills every month. Li Ka-shing just can't wait for his cash!

    Hey!

I heard of that, but I've been in HK since last June and has always been paying 100% of my bills.

Can you detail the conditions to benefit of the subsidy?

    Txs!

don't think you can just "not pay" your bill. they will take it off of your billed amount (at least that would be my guess). so if your bill is $600, they would only bill you $300.
