I got handed a "free" iphone by someone and all I can say is, not impressed. I'm pretty much underwhelmed by it... bit of an anti-climax.

Other than the podcasts, I see no reason why I'd not switch to another similarly featured phone.

It really does not do anything my Nokia E61 did not do, other than the GPS part.

BTW three is not the cheapest data plan out there, peoples is, but that data plan is 2g only.

you can pick up a second hand 2g iphone for around HK$2k (that is what I did).

out of 10 points of why the iphone is bad....they list that it wobbles when lying flat on a table. LOL. and memory card? its got a HDD in it...wtf does it need a external memory card too? as for the other reasons...90% of them are fixed through 3rd party apps via cydia or the app store.

some realise the limitation and restriction with a iphone after purchasing, even standard features on basic however, the GUI interface and Aesthetic are the unique selling points of a iphone

other places where to buy iphone ( where local use) is yahoo auctions ( sadly chinese only), but they have much better prices than shops, however, as with all online auctions, it's buyers beware and always test before handing money
