Wages and cost of living

Hi there,

My employer offered me a posting in HK for 2 years..Salary is HKD 750000, which I figured is about 90000 US dollars. Would that be considered a good salary in HK ?? How much tax should I expect to pay on that (family of 3) ??

Thank you all very much, very valuable information you gave me here..
The job is at the Chek Lap Kok Airport, and I'm planning to look for a place to live around Discovery Bay....We are Canadian, but have been living in Paris, France, for the last 4 years. I realize it might not be easy to find (and afford !) in HKG an equivalent to our current 1300 sqft appartment , but hey, we'll adapt !
