Other cost for helpers, hours for work?

I am trying to hire full time helper.
posted ad for live-in, but also live out helper replied.

Any cost I should offer for boarding?

For food, I am saying that she can eat with us.

For the days she is off, should I offer any food allowance?

Also for Filipina live-in, how many hours do they usually work?
    is 11am-10pm sounds bad?
someone I know usually start early like 6:30am, and til 8pm...

Our helper begins work at 8, has a two hour midday break and she is free for the evening by 6 on most days. She is welcome to eat with us, but we also give a food allowance.

Having a live-out Filipina helper is, in almost all circumstances, illegal and you should be aware that there are serious negative consequences for you as the employer and for her if the authorities catch on. That said, if you do chose to have a live-out helper, you should pay for both the cost of her accommodation and all transportation to and from your home.

We have a live-in helper, she cooks most of time, so she eats whatever we eat. We don't provide food allowances for her when she is off. However, when we are not in the town for vacation or something, her food is on our expenses.

Our helper works no fixed time. She in general starts her work around 8 am, takes at least 3 hours or more breaks in the middle (breakfast, lunch & dinner), finishes around 9 pm at the latest. I am very flexible on her working time as long as she has the job done.

For a full-time live-in helper the legal minimum is HK$3580/month plus food, flights, insurance, etc. Some people illegally pay less. Others choose to pay more - certainly $5000/month is not that unusual I believe.

For part-time the rate is in the range $50-80/hr, plus travelling expenses if they have to come any distance.
