We moved locally - within the same building. We met and got quotes from a few movers and finally settled on Mr. Miracle.
It was a relatively simple move - so, we went by price and 'ability to communicate' as the deciding factors.
Everything went on fine till he (they realized) that they had probably undersestimated the effort. That's when they decided to change the terms of the move. We had agreed to pay for a "full move" - his written quoation said "You do nothing" - and that's the price / option we picked.
They said that they wouldn't unpack. My wife, who is pregnant with our second child (we have a 3 year old) was left alone with the task of managing the toddler and unpacking.
She threatened them with having to call the police - only then did they half un-pack and still left in a rush with boxes all over the apartment.
I would strongly "not recommend" anyone from using the services. It is interesting that they call themselves "Mr. Miracle moving services" - because they miraculously changed the terms of the contract.
