help i need chocolate cake

hi there I would really like to get my husband some chocolate cake for fathers day but all the cakes here are strange they dont taste like the ones in england. We have a young baby and we dont spend much time apart so there is no way i can sneak off to central without him noticing. i would bake one but no oven help please does anyone know of a good chocolate cake that you can get delivered to tuen mun or any good cooks out there that feel like making and delivering it to me I will pay you of course

Cova's choco cakes are pretty decent, as are those from the bakery at the Mandarin Oriental.

thanks for the suggestions but i think my husband would think i am a bit crazy if i spent so much on ordering one of covas cakes especially in the NT where delivery costs are very high

Sorry - I cannot help - I would have offered the use of our oven but I'm off to Perth for business tomorrow.

You might want to try ringing "the pantry" in Gold Coast - they are run by a british couple of women and do proper bread, they MIGHT also do cakes. Gold coast is very close to Tuen Mun. Tel: 2430 1362
