Vinegar+water sprayed on a window, wiped down with newsprint, and followed with a dry cotton cloth (microfibre if you must) works just as well to clean windows without harsh chemicals. I try not to use too many cleaning chemicals because of our pets, but generally I find that gimmicky products are just that.

By chemicals, I mean detergent, bleach, washing up liquid etc. But with these cloths I dont even need to use vinegar or bicarb or anything, just water! My windows have never been so clean. And doing the bathroom takes a fraction of the time and not so much water. Im really impressed. Everything is loads quicker

Have to say I was very skeptical at first and Ive tested it on greasy dishes, a slimy bathroom wall and lots of glassware, each time with results much better than I was expecting. Apparently some Australian hospitals and schools have now taken it on for some of their cleaning.

Hmmm. OK. So the grease solvents are in the cloth. I'm not sure I see your point...
