I'm a size 39 or 40 shoe and had no problem finding sizes in SOGO. Also noticed heaps of shoe shops in the Admirality Centre - straight up from MTR exit A (some look like they make shoes to order). They looked like reasonable sizes in the window displays (didn't go in though so couldn't guarantee sizing). I am keen to hear others shoe shop tips too!

I am also a size 39 or 40. I found a couple small stores in Wan Chai that carried these sizes. But the quality was not exactly what I was looking for.

I stepped into a store and asked for size 40 for a shoe that I liked. The lady there said with wide eyes "no, no...no 40". So I asked what was the largest size they had. Her response was "9". I realised the store had shoes in UK sizes. Obviously size 40 was a shock for her!

VegemiteKid where is SOGO? Please excuse my ignorance, but is this a store or a neighbourhood?

Excuse me for stepping in ... SOGO is a Japanese department store situated in Causeway Bay. There is a tram stop right outside it. The CWB MTR station has an exit labelled for SOGO and will take you to its basement floor which contains the shoe departments.
