    my village ma chuek ling village, pops out of a distant mountain towards the tai mei tuk direction, very orange and hazy, pretty nice

    Lantau Peak. The sun rises over Sunset Peak (so called because from HK Island that's where the sun sets).

    I'm looking towards Mui Wo from the water between Hei Ling Chau and Sunny Island at sunset in this picture. So I imagine sunrise on Mui Wo would look similar.

    The Peak would be the most convenient.
