There are 2 Health Food/ Exercise Food places on Lyndhurst Terrace just near Dubline Jacks. One is called American Nutirion I think and the other is on the other side of the escalator but I don't know its name. Don't know a great deal about this stuff but went into both for the first time on the weekend and they look to have most things ie: protein powders, EAS drinks in the fridge, Zone and Low Carb bars and lots of supplements.

I recently bought some Designer Whey from American Nutrition Company on Lyndhurst Terrace.

They seem to have a decent selection, and more than GNC if you are looking for other name brands.

They have 2 membership schemes that you can choose from to get a 15% lifetime discount: 1) pay $200 for the membership or 2) pay $1500 up-front "credit" and all your future purchases will be deducted from that balance (and you get the 15% off any of these purchases). Once that $1500 runs out, then what you have left is the 15% discount for life.
Not a bad deal, but then again, the prices for nutritional supplements are AT LEAST double what you might pay in N. America or Oz, so depending on how you look at it, you're not "saving" any money.

What I liked about ANC is that they deliver practically anywhere. I live in and work way out in N.T. and they had no problems delivering out there. I was also told they frequently go out to Disco Bay and Sai Kung too.

The prices seemed comparable to GNC, but maybe some of the name brand stuff might be a little higher in quality. That is... if it isn't fake. After reading one of the posts here, I'm now wondering if I paid for 5 lbs of chalk... well, the chocolate chalk isn't bad with a little milk though.

    Good luck.

    Supplements

    Hi,

I get my protein and some other things at Goodlife Nutrition, which has several locations around the city. Check out 123mass.com for some info. The Optimum Nutrition whey is 279 for the 5lb tub, which is almost comparable to the US price. For other supplements, including creatine, it may be better to order from the states from a place like bulknutrition (1fast400) which, if you order for several months, offsets the shipping cost. The health food stores are much more expensive and always trying to sell crap you don't need.

I've gone through the headache of shaping my supplement stacks based on the availability of supps here in HK. I gave up. I order all my stuff from bodybuilding.com. It takes 5-6 days, and I got all my stuff on the door.

Obviously, there's a shipping cost, but of the few same products that are available here in HK, it's almost half price. So it works out a lot cheaper, as I order quite a lot each time.

I'm currently doing Universal products only and I'm on a stack now:

    - Real Gains,
    - Animal PAK
    - Animal STAK
    - Animal PUMP
    - Animal TEST
    - NITRO G
    - Torrent for P/W

Needless to say, I take my food and rest seriously. I do not compete, only against the weights. This stack is crazy. Supps ain't everything, but it gives you the edge, and this stack certainly does do just that.

Mannings have GNC products, including 100% Whey Protein. They have a complee GNC corner inside some shops.

    Some prices:

GNC Pro Performance®100% Whey Protein 1lb
    Price in HK: HK$ 250
Price in US: US$ 14.99 (sale price: $11.99)

GNC Pro Performance®100% Whey Protein 3lb
    Price in HK: HK$ 500
(they don't have the 3lb pack at gnc.com)

GNC Pro Performance®100% Whey Protein 5lb
Price in US: US$ 49.99 (sale price: $37.99)

In other words, you can almost buy 5lb in the USA for the price of 1lb over here in Hong Kong (HK$ 250 for 1lb compared to US$ 37.99/HK$ 296 for 5lb). Total ripp off.

They have lots of other GNC stuff too, like supplements, vitamins, weight gainers, creatine, etc.
