    Lunch in Central in the days when one would have to blush at the mention of the Mandarin Grill, would be a shared Canada Bakery baguette unsalted Lurpak butter and purlioned MickeyD saltandpepper packs. If someone was flush then maybe bit of Boursin Cheese.
    But certainly none of the plasticky gunk dished out now.
    Anyone remember the gweilo run sandwich shoppe in WorldWide House?
    Crusty wholegrain slathered with butter and Duck l'orange-and damn the calories!

    There's a salad place in Worldwide...oooooh where exactly, please

    Seems a suitable time to point out to sxc that this isn't the uk and if it is missed so much then perhaps a one way ticket back there can be purchased!

    I tried it out today. Prices are a little more than you'd pay at Olivers or Pret but wow do you get a whopping great helping and the most incredible array of options. And right now you get one of their bowls for free to take away - great re-use concept!

    I recommend them

    How would you compare Just Salad to Dressed?
    Dressed Salads || Welcome
    Pricewise of course Just wins, but is it worth the trek all the way to WWH?

    I remember the Marks & Sparks in the UK use to do yabba dabba do cream cakes - I have looked on several occassions but can't seem to find them here - for those cream cakes I would suffer the calorie guilt

    You get a lot more for your money (they are a bit more generous in dolling out the toppings)...and I like the "bring your own salad pot" initative (you get 2 free toppings if you do)

    Next door to Fanda.

    I used to go to Mix for lunch but now they've changed it all about and you pay more for a salad but have fewer options so I'm glad this place has opened.

    the M&S sarnies were a huge disappointment, but it is a good place to go if you're trying to hit on men
