    about dynamic currency conversion

how can i ensure every time i just pay the visiting country's currency ?

i remember when i traveled to AUZ, some cc receipt automatically do the currency conversion to HKD already, can i refuse to sign it and request them to issue another new one in the visiting country's currency ?

    confused , i hate this !

Refuse to sign it and ask for a new bill in local currency.

Technically, yes, you have the right to refuse signing and ask them to convert to the visiting country's currency.

However often (especially in countries where they don't speak the same language as you), the retailer won't understand and may kick up a fuss.

i must take a closer look at the amount and currency next time i travel.
