    Yellow marks on white clothing?

    Hi all

Does anyone else get mysterious orange/yellow marks on their clothes out here? Some of them admittedly could be sweat but others are definitely in non-sweaty areas - plus I've sweated before and never had problems with my clothes staining before. It's really hard to remove them with usual stain removers and they usually need bleach.

I use Ecover detergent and a regular mainstream fabric softener.

    Any advice welcomed!

    Thanks

Serious, I get those mysterious yellow/brown stains too, usually on my dress shirts. Somethin funky in the air.

Do you - um - lean? If you lean against barriers/alongside the wall (when waiting for the bus - to be specific )) that can cause some dust transfer. Or it could also be color transfer from your bag/briefcase - sometimes the humidity causes the color to bleed.

Thanks Brown_by_Nature - is that how you got your name?

In fact thanks to you all - your posts have been invaluably helpful!...

Konijntje - No - no leaning and often this happens when I am not holding a bag.

I have had that too on one of my favourite shirts because of which, unfortunately, I cannot wear it anymore. Weird. More weird that it is happening to others too.
