I am looking to sell a piece of pure Swiss gold and note that although the price per gram at one point was HK$1,013, jewellery shops like Chow Tai Fook were quoting me around $920 per gram to buy my gold. On top of that there is a 2% commission charge.
Where else can I go to sell gold at the daily quote price? Any advice given on this forum would be appreciated. The piece is 99.9% pure and has been stamped by a Swiss Bank.

Are you sure about the prices quoted by you per gm?
The Gold price is US$ 1010 per troy oz on Bloomberg
Per gm price will be US$32.065 =HK$248.50

The price quoted on Bloomberg is the buy price, not the sell one.
To the OP: If you are near Wanchai, try Wing On Jewellery.

In the US/Canada, I know this is a reputable service. They may do international sales, too, and even with shipping you may do better than local Jewelry stores.

Ooops it's troy oz not gram. Must engage brain before engaging fingers. I tried Wing On before posting, they don't buy gold only the jewellers do. Thank you for the advice everyone!
