Lanterns night - today or tomorrow?

Is it tonight or tomorrow night that people would be going to beaches and parks to light up lanterns/candles and watch the moon? Thanks!

um..When I was a child, I go to the parks in the neighbourhood to lit up(Sometimes accidentally burnt up) lanterns / candles on all three nights, the eve, Mid-autumn festival and the evening after the festival.
The number of people there would be in that order : Mid-autumn festival > festival eve > the evening after the festival

Some crazy children would melt 10 packs of candles in fire and splash water on it. Then the blaze would be 2-storey high. Don't worry, it's not allowed nowadays. If you see one, stay away from them.

According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, 15th is on this Saturday, thus, MidAutumn Festival is on Saturday. Traditionally, we got a public holiday a day after the MA Fest, but it is a Sunday this year, the Government decides to have the PH fall on the Saturday instead of Monday, Sucks....
