    Toni & Guy Academy...

Has anyone been to the toni & guy academy here in HK for a haircut? Do they also do colours? Just wanted to find out before I give 'em a call...

    Hi Tink,

I saw the advert which I think they mentioned about colours too. I only saw the advert from someone's newpaper. Not sure. But i went there 2 weeks ago to have colour and highlight. I would say I am satisfied. but don't spin their chairs as my friend spinned the chair and hitted their marble table. a corner of marble came off!! hahah

    Hi Princess Tink

I visited the T&G Wan Chai last week on my awareness trip and the prices are similar to the UK.They are in Cantral and Causeway Bay also - I don't work for them - I was just worried about getting my hair done whilst living here...... they have all the same services as in the UK. I get my hair colour done at T&G in UK and my stylist will send my colour card to the T&G in HK when I move. They have all the same training and use the same products as UK. Hope this helps.

    Princess Tink,

If you do end up trying T&G, tell me how you found it =)
I'm searching for a decent place to get my hair cut and highlighted too...

    hey...

well i am very happy with it, I had a full head of tri-colour highlights/lowlights foils and a cut, long layers...the colourist was excellent and the stylist also good. however it did take a long time, 3 hours!!! but my hair is long so a full head highlights is a big job..but the cost was even better...$130 for the highlights and $50 for the cut... when you think these treatments at their central salon would cost over $2000!!!! and i was asked to be a model next year so my next do is FREE!!! one word of advice though...figure out what you want before you go, maybe take pictures too....

    Western/Caucasian hair

    Hi

Just read your thread about your hair.

I'm searching around for a hairdresser too and can't afford the international salons...they are quoting me over $2,000.

I made an appointment with a local hairdresser but was convinced by friends I shouldn't go. They said that the colours used in local salons are different - made for Asian hair constitution - so the outcome is not the same. You speak highly of the T&G academy - I wondered if you had Caucasian or Asian hair. Had too many bad experiences and would love to find somewhere that I can go long term.
