im heading out in abit, would just like to ask anyone, wheres it good and cheap to eat around the nathan rd, austin rd, area. im not picky with food, anything goes, just want to adventure trip it. haha

If you really want an adventure then just walk into the first restaurant that takes your fancy. Language will not be a problem in that area and most menus will have pictures.

Walk north up Temple Street from Austin Road and eat weird stuff in one of those outdoor restaurants while watching the street life.

Try one of those small places with the kitchen right at the entrance and a narrow passageway into the "dining" area. These are places that office workers go. The waitresses at these places look like they given up on life completely. There are several on the side streets around Nathan. A good plate of noodles and brisket of beef should run about 32 HKD. It is better to get one where there is no english-speaking staff, since at such places the extra they pay the translator comes out of food quality.
