hey guys,
I got a quick question. A bunch of my family and friends are coming over January for a visit. they asked me to look into motels/hostels that would be cheap.
Maybe a budget of 100-150HKD per head/night? is that possible? I've surfed the net, and most it is in the range of 250-400HKD. I have about 10-15 people coming over, and booking a hotel would just be ridiculous. so i am asking, are there cheap places to stay? or are there flats/apartments that they can rent out for a few days?
please let me know. any info will be alot of help.

You can get rooms in places which will sleep 3 for about $250/night or less. But they really are just very small basic rooms with a small shower and toilet. They tend to be converted apartments and such like. The Hostels site linked by Jimbo covers many of them (it also has Kowloon and Other Areas pages).
