whats a food court?
like in a shopping mall where they have a bunch of restaurants in one location?
what budget is "affordable" for you?
Yes, either like in the mall with many choices of food vendors or off the mall. Affordable means not like a outback steakhouse or TGIF thing..
If you can name a few, it'll be great!! thx
Citygate in Tung Chung has one. Festival mall in Kowloon Tong has one. APM mall in Kwun Tong has one. Times Square has one near City Super.
Admiralty - Pacific Place
TST - Harbour city, Silvercord centre
Hung Hom - train station, mall near train station(sorry I don't remember the name)
normally you pay $3x-60 for a meal in food courts
they are no cheaper than those local restaurants("Cha Chang Ten"??), but you have to speak a little bit of Cantonese there(except "Chui Wah" restaurant)
PS. "Chui Wah" has branches in Central(near LKF), Causeway Bay, etc.
The food court in Pacific Place hasn't been there in two years!
Carrotc, When was the last time you were there? lol

Unfortunately HK food courts aren't as varied or interesting as Singapore's version.
There is another though at Langham Place.
Cityplaza, Tai Koo Shing. Try the dumplings.
Anyone who has ever been or lived in Singapore would know what a food court is...(and how important they are in your daily life )
The ones I can recall
- APM
- Festival Walk top floor
- City Plaza under Fortress
- City Plaza inside Uny
- Times Square City Super
- Pacific Place
- City Gate
- Island Place (basement) North Point
- Harbour City (TST), City Super
