Ok, thanks. That is very helpful. We are moving into a new place that currently has a two in one (which we have heard washes fine but can't dry very well at all.) What we are in the market for is a dryer. We currently have a philco pd40m. It takes average two hours to do a large load. It seems to have a control for heat (warm or hot) and a time function.

A pair of jeans weighs about 400-500g. Add around 50% weight when wet but spun dry. So ballpark 3 pairs of jeans at around 5 pounds.

I have no idea about ten bath towels, but would be suprised if you could fit ten of them into most tumble driers, or even have than many to clean at once, or that they would be anywhere near the weight of 3 pairs of jeans.

To the OP: Perhaps consider a Fisher & Paykel dryer.
