That's fine. I can speak and read Chinese (Cantonese) so this map may be proven very helpful to me especially if I am standing in the middle of Waterloo Rd with NO internet access.

    Thanks for your pointer.

no problems, just want advise any non chinese reading (if you can decipher chinese place names, you can adjust this map pretty fine) people here that this is not english friendly reference ( just incase that blame me for misinformation)

in my opinion this is by far the best general information source and by far the best map in HK.

There are three competing street map books published every year, with all the bus routes, and on sale in every bookshop and stationery shop. I can't believe any household or office can be without a copy.

In HK, it seems one must know both the English and Chinese name of an establishment and/or street in order to get around easily. If a friend wishes to meet me at the American Restaurant in Wan Chai, unless I know what its Chinese name is, I will have hell of a time trying to find it. The Chinese name is "May Lay Gein".

OTOH, if I only knew its Chinese name, then I would never be able to find its address on the internet since my computer was NOT compatible to Chinese language.

Renotommy, you seem to be way outside of your comfort zone.

    ??????????????????

Everybody is OUTSIDE OF HIS COMFORT ZONE if he is 50 miles away from where he lives.

You never have any questions when you are 6000 miles away from home?
