That's great! Was a bit scared that I'd be the only girl there! Looking forward to the next tour!

A non-commercial type of photographer that can teach you in a very small group of students.

    Picture taking = clueless

Hey! I just have a Kodak Easyshare (point and shoot) camera but I have always been interested in learning more about taking pictures and upgrading to a better camera but I'm clueless! Where should I start?

I have a pretty limited budget (hence the cheapo camera) but I guess my main interests are people and objects. I think I would only buy a better camera if I knew what to do with it!

    Hi

    Re starting an old thread.

Am thinking about doing the photography classes by Craig Norris:

Has anyone here taken his classes before?

Craig's workshops will give you a good overview of the theory and practice of the basics. The studio session on the last day is also a good introduction to controlling light. He is also currently trying to develop more advances workshops for serious armatures and semi-pros.
