    Can we talk about mascara?

So, I'm a girl who wants it all, but can't seem to find it in a mascara. Perfectly happy with my Estee Lauder smudgeproof for it's smudgeproofness and likewise my No.7 extreme length for making my lashes lengthier. If I could combine the two I would be supremely happy. I figure with so many mascaras on the market there must be one that does everything, right? Anyone found it?

If they did it all now, what would they be able to market tomorrow????? You are just TOO impatient

Ah...so true...and I would also only need to buy one product which would mean less money for all the brands that have a whole range of mascaras. See, not being business minded, I assume it's just that no-one's figured out how to put all the chemicals together to make something perfect, but of course, it's just that if they did it it would mean less profit for them. Good job I'm not in business eh?!

I can live with the women who wear too much mascara. It's the men doing it that REALLY turn me off!

So you're not an Adam Lambert fan?

Seriously though, women please take note: men don't really like women with too much makeup. It makes you look painted and fake and we can see right through the facade. Subtle highlights to accent your natural colour and features is much better

    Thanks...

    ...for the advice Sylvesterjay.

If I ever get to a point in my life where everything I do I do in order to get the approval of men then I'll take your tips on board.

Until then, I might just keep wearing mascara. And maybe even a bit of eyeliner. Do you happen to know where I can get one that's smudgeproof AND lengthening?? Here's hoping...

I swear by my Max Factor 2000 Calorie. It lengthens, thickens, doesn't stink like some mascara do, and although it's not marketed as "smudgeproof" it's never smudged in all those years that I've been using it.

The ones I use are from the UK though - they sell 2000 Calorie in HK but am not sure if it's the same formula.
