The last couple of times they had big US carriers here (Nimitz a couple of years ago, Ronald Reagan a year before that) they put them pretty close to the bridge, rather than directly on the way to DiscoBay.

I can see most of the harbour from my office and I can't see it anywhere. I might jump on the E11 airport bus later because that goes past the port and over the Tsing Yi bridge. Should be able to spot a great big aircraft carrier somewhere in Western Hong Kong!

Hey, did you make the trip? I heard there are actually 5 ships in. Would love to take my son out to see them.

My understanding is that they are parked between Green Island and Disneyland.

I did go down for a looksee but couldn't find them. The weather was pretty poor last week but I don't think I was looking in the right place.

I'm sure they'll be back again at some point. Next time I'll be ready...

They were all clearly visible on the ferry ride over to DB.

Yeah, I didn't get time to do that unfortunately. Just went over the bridge on my way to Tung Chung.
