Used Clothes and Shoes for charity

    Hi

I would like to get rid of my old clothes and shoes and instead of chucking them away, why not donate them to the less fortunate or to charity.

I'm sure there a lot of people out there in a similar situation and ended up hoarding.

So is there any place I can donate my stuff? Preferably accessible in HK side.

    Cheers!

Oxfam shops in Central and Causeway Bay accept clothes that are clean, washed and in good condition.

The Salvation Army has shops and collection points.

There is also Friends of the Earth which has many recollection boxes for its used clothing recycling programme.

Failing that, if you have a helper she will very likely be able to find them a good home within her community (seems to be generally true of Filipinas - I have no experience of other groups).
