Velcro watch band

I bought a Swatch Chrono back in 2000 with Velcro band for my mum and she loves it coz she uses it when she is swimming. Now the band is almost worn out and Swatch in HK said they don't carry the replacement band anymore. Visited a couple of major shops and corner repair shops but no luck at all. Does anyone know where can I find it?

(PS I noticed that there is a shop in Netherland selling it thru Internet, but, the price + shipment is quite steep and I bet they got it from China or so as well. I want to make sure that I can't find it in HK (which I seriously suspect not the case) before ordering it from the NET.)

Have you checked eBay? Websites are usually more expensive. Have you considered a generic one especially if your mom uses for swimming.

Thanks Renotommy, I have already checked ebay, ebay HK, ebay UK and Yahoo HK auction, there are quite a few Swatch bands plastic/rubber/leather but nothing Velcro (Not even generic), guess it is too niche.

Maybe I should visit Ap Liu Street for a final try before ordering from the NET.

I have to say, Swatch's watches are pretty sturdy and I have 2 swatch plastic Chronos from 199X and still ticking strong. You simply can't ask for more from a watch which cost only a couple of hundred dollars......

A friend overseas in a country that does sell them? Ordered over the internet but delivered same country is rarely expensive and a watch band would easily slip into an envelope to post to HK for little more than a letter.
