Since is a legal document from Japan, you will need to bring the original document to the Japanese Consulate at Exchange Square Tower 1 (Central) to get it verify & translate by them.

Call Miriam at China Win Int'l Development Ltd. Her number is 64082036. Tell her you were referred to by Max.

don't think the issue is with the translation. alot of ppl, incl myself, have done professional translation before.

but the key cld be the authentication of translation. does hk has a requirement on certification for official documents ?

Yep, you'll need the local consulate to be involved.

Thanks for everyones quick reply. i found a place that has a notary seal and everything so it should be good to go.
Has anyone seen the line at the marriage registry in Sha Tin? people sleep there the night before just to get a number!! I got there this morning at 5am and I was the second to last person to get a number! I dont understand why they only hand out 30 to 40 slots a day. Just to register. Well i'm going off on a tangent here.
    Thanks for the help everyone.
