I guess some people have been living under a rock for the last 10 years. Let me remind them what a war criminal is:
War crimes are "violations of the laws or customs of war"; including "murder, the ill-treatment or deportation of civilian residents of an occupied territory to slave labor camps", "the murder or ill-treatment of prisoners of war", the killing of hostages, "the wanton destruction of cities, towns and villages, and any devastation not justified by military, or civilian necessity" (from Wikipedia).
And if you hadn't lived under a rock for the last 10 years, you would know that this is what the US government has done in Iraq. So, all those in the US government who supported, promoted, or justified the invasion of Iraq are war criminals, and this includes Condoleeza Rice.

The problem with this is that it implies invading and occupying a sovereign nation like Iraq is only an issue if war crimes are committed. And the only thing that could have made the Iraq war any worse would have been if it were legal. This is important because for years, whilst Iraq was in flames, Afghanistan was being labelled the 'good war' and indeed it was 'legal' too. Yet it is every bit as much a disaster.
Anyway, hopefully the Trot nutter Long Hair will turn up and sling a few banana's at her.
Why spare every government official in Britain who promoted or justified the invasion of Iraq? Aren't they complicit, too? And don't forget Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Nicaragua or Thailand. They were part of the invasion/occupation force, also. Singapore, Fiji, Philippines and Georgia, too, for example.
Indeed. All those who supported, promoted and participated in the war in Iraq are war criminals, but some more so than others. Japan for example didn't drop any bomb on crowded markets, and didn't kidnap and torture anybody (unlike the US). So the US are the worst culprits, followed by their lap lap lap dogs (the UK), Australia, etc.
Some, as you know, where just there to make the US look less isolated, like Italy and Thailand.

They paid for them in taxes....
By the way, what are your opinions about Tony Blair? One might say, if it wasnt for his govt's support .. the war might not have happened.
I should probably refrain from bothering on this topic given how ridiculous and outrageous your claims are. However if you are talking about Japan in World War 2 you are very clearly wrong.
Japanese troops committed some of the worst atrocities in any war right here in Hong Kong and in China. The General who led the attack on HK was tried and executed as a war criminal. One of the things they did was enter a hospital here and torture and kill some 60 wounded soldiers and health care workers. They killed some 300,000 civilians in Nanjing, raped over 20,000 women and killed health workers there.
It is one thing to be ignorant of what a war criminal is, it is another to so completely ignore the horrible suffering that many in HK and China experienced at the hands of the Japanese.
Maybe read a book or two:
Charles G. Roland. "Massacre and Rape in Hong Kong: Two Case Studies Involving Medical Personnel and Patients"
Or watch a movie the Rape of Nanjing. Nanjing was the capital of the Republic of China at the time.
This has also been termed a holocaust by some historians.
