And don't forget to taste the HALO HALO at Mla Pen too, one of Philippines' specialty. The best.

Becky, Cebu Pacific is ok airline, friendly crew, but currently flies older planes, so if you're expecting frills, they are not the way to go (meals are a sandwich and some dried mangoes vs I'm told PAL where you have a full meal?). It seems they cater mostly to the DH's here, but I don't mind flying them as they are lower priced than PAL & CX.

Er, the Pen to Greenbelt is about 400 metres! That's idleness in the extreme!

The Pen, Shang, Renaissance, Mandarin, Intercon, Greenbelt, Glorietta, and so on all all within 10 minutes walk of each other.

    Last night at Shangri La

I just came back from a night in the Shangri La Makati. I thought it was excellent, and the service was top notch. That said, Ive been told that most hotels in asia have excellent service. I was lucky to spend a night in one of the suites there. Luckily, I didnt have to pay for it. Very nice.

    Hope you enjoy Manila!
