Has anyone enrolled in Hutchison Communications $38/month unlimited long distance calling? What do y'all think of the service?

yes i did. so far no complaints at all. and it's really sooooooooooo cheap

Remember that the countries it covers are all very cheap destinations. By shopping around you could get calls to most of them for about HK$0.2 per minute, so you need to be making over 3 hours per month of calls to those destinations to be saving with the HGC deal.

Yes, I tried it, in fact I think I am still registered. I would not recomend it. I found that much of the time the quality was so bad, it made it unusable so I had to use other IDD's anyway. During the day mostly it was often innacecable, at night often OK. When you work out that Skype will give you 4 hours of calls to most countries for this rate (providers like 0030 nearly as many hours) I consider it is not worth it. I must remember to cancel this as soon as I can.
