How clear are the skies of HK? I was thinking of bringing my telescope when I move. It isn't so much the air pollution as the light pollution I am wondering about.
the air pollution seems to magnify the light pollution. the sky is pretty bright at night, IMHO you'd have a hard time. but then, i haven' really tried it yet, so i could be speaking absolute rot too. lets just say, u have to try hard to see stars exept the really bright ones..Originally Posted by Sleuth:

The planetarium is a good place to start.
And I bet the light pollution picks up from Shenzen as you head deep into the NT?
