My private health insurance year doesn't kick in til the end of March, and I probably should see a dentist before then. This means I'll have to pay the full cost, so I'd like to find somewhere inexpensive.

Are dentistry services in Hong Kong entirely private? Or is there a system of public provision? Is there somewhere I can get low cost dentistry, then ask for a referral to a specialist if I need more complex work?

Appreciate any advice.
